About the event

Join us for this free kid-friendly event to learn all about air travel with special needs kids. Hosted by Southwest Airlines and the San Antonio International Airport, all attendees will receive a private group tour of the San Antonio International Airport and a Southwest Airlines jet! From Ticketing, to the TSA Checkpoint, to Baggage Claim, get all your questions answered about travelling with special needs children. Topics that we will cover include: wheelchairs and durable medical equipment, orthotics, medications, feeding tubes, catethers, sensory issues, developmental delays, and many more. This event is intended to be a hands-on educational experience for families, and a fun kid-friendly event for all ages!

All adults must register for this free event, providing their name and birthdate (as shown on photo ID). This is required prior to the event, to speed up the process of getting the entire group through the TSA checkpoint.

Parking will be validated for all attendees. Just remember to bring your ticket inside!

Feel free to bring any equipment, medications, or special needs accessories to practice and "test" the process during this event!

For additional questions, feel free to call us at 901-907-3575 or email us at info@gabrielalcalafoundation.org.

We look forward to helping you reduce your upcoming air travel stress!
